International Kindergarten in Koto Ward: Information Session for 2017

2015.11.19

Hello! I’m Susumu Inoue from the International Kindergarten “Dream Kids House.”

We will be holding an information sessions for those interested in enrolling for the 2017 school year this autumn.

Dream Kids House, located in Koto City, is a school packed with diverse educational opportunities.

While attending our school, children can receive various forms of education, including English and music.

Here is some feedback from the parents of current students:

I enrolled my child at Dream Kids House because I wanted them to develop an interest in various subjects. In just a month, my child has learned so much and is having a great time.

Especially in English, my child comes home every day with new words. They’ve started using simple phrases like “What’s this?” while looking at picture books, and they ask for help by saying, “Help please.” They are very curious and often ask, “How do you say this in English?”

I’m also amazed at their pronunciation. I believe that interacting with native teachers and those who have lived abroad really enhances their learning.

My child started talking about “quarter notes,” “eighth notes,” and “treble clefs” when they returned home.

While many children take separate English and music lessons, the school provides a rare opportunity to learn both simultaneously. My child is now confidently using complex English expressions that leave me astounded.

Both of my children, who graduated from Dream Kids House, had their individual personalities nurtured during their time at the school and enjoyed a fulfilling school experience. They also engage in conversations in English independently and proactively when opportunities arise. Not only can they speak English, but they can also read and write. Thanks to phonics lessons, they can read unfamiliar words and look up their meanings, thus expanding their vocabulary.

My son, who is currently in middle-year, actively tries to read words.

I appreciate that the curriculum includes not just English, but also dance, music, and physical education, offering experiences that are hard to find in ordinary kindergartens.

Children can attend daily English conversation, educational activities, and music education at our school without any stress while continuing their regular daycare.

English conversation and educational activities are conducted every day. Specialized instructors provide lessons in Eurhythmics, Montessori, dance, ensemble (group performance), and art once a week.

Daily life at the school involves interacting in English with native-speaking instructors. Children naturally develop their English communication skills through this immersive environment.

We conduct 30-minute sessions for English lessons and educational activities every day.

During the briefing, we will introduce how a typical day is structured, showcasing our daily activities and lesson content using slides.

In addition to English education, we also emphasize music education.

Lessons in Eurhythmics and ensemble (group performance) are conducted once a week by specialized instructors.

Weekly lessons in Montessori, dance, ensemble (group performance), and art are also provided by specialized instructors.

During the information session, we will introduce how a day is spent, daily life at the school, and the lesson content using slides and other materials.

There will be fun activities with native instructors.

You can experience English Eurhythmics during the entrance information session.

After the introduction and experience, we will answer any questions you may have.
