Hello, this is Satsuki Abe from Dream Kids House.

 

年に一度のアートショーについてご紹介いたします。

Let me introduce you to our annual art show.

 

ドリームキッズハウスは、こどもたちの発露を大切にする、インターナショナル保育園です。

Dream Kids House is an international kindergarten that values children’s self-expression.

 

ドリームキッズハウスの園児たちは、週に一回、アートのレッスンを受けています。

The kindergarten students at Dream Kids House receive art lessons once a week.

 

アートの先生は、美術大学出身で、イギリスの芸術大学を卒業された櫻井春江先生です。

Our art teacher, Ms. Harue Sakurai, graduated from art university in the UK.

 

ドリームキッズハウスの専科のレッスンは、その道のプロの先生に指導を受けることができます。

With specialized lessons at Dream Kids House, children have the opportunity to learn from professional teachers in their respective fields.

 

 

アートのレッスンは、こどもたちの無限の可能性と、柔軟な発想力を専門の先生が縦横無尽に引き出してくれる、楽しいレッスンです。

Art lessons are enjoyable sessions where specialized teachers unleash children’s boundless potential and flexible creativity.

 

ドリームキッズハウスのこどもたちは、アートのレッスンが大好きです！

The children at Dream Kids House absolutely love their art lessons!

 

 

上の写真のハートは、キンダークラスとPre-Aクラスのこどもたちがオイルクレパスで描きました。

The hearts in the photo above was drawn by the kindergarten and Pre-A class children using oil pastels.

 

ハートと言っても、ひとりひとりの感性が違うことがわかりますね。

Even though they’re all hearts, you can see that each child’s sensibility is different.

 

ある保護者様と上のハートの作品でお話をする機会があり、下記のような感想をお話してくださいました。

I had the opportunity to talk with a parent about the heart artwork, and they shared the following feedback.

 

ハートの形を描いて、赤く塗るのがだいたいの大人の発想だと思います。

Drawing a heart shape and coloring it red is generally an adult’s way of thinking.

 

でも、この作品のこどもたちのハートは、それぞれ色が違っているし、ハートの中に♡があったり、ハートの中を分割していろんな色で塗ったり、色を重ねて塗ったりと、こどもたちの発想力の豊かさ、バラエティーに富んだ個性に驚きました。

However, in this artwork by the children, each heart has different colors. Some hearts have ♡ symbols inside,

while others are divided into sections and colored with various shades. The richness of the children’s creativity and

the variety of their individual personalities amazed me.

 

また、それを引き出してくださった先生は本当にすごいですね！

And the teacher who brought out these ideas is truly remarkable!

 

作品展では、こどもたちの年度初めからの作品を、保育室を全部使って、一斉に公開します。

During the art exhibition, we showcase the children’s work from the beginning of the academic year, utilizing all the school rooms for a collective display.

 

保護者の皆さまに、４月からの全園児の成長を鑑賞していただける展覧会です。

It’s an exhibition where parents can appreciate the growth of all the students over the year since April.

 

 

クリスマスオーナメントや、牛乳パックを使ったランタンなど、色とりどりで鮮やかな作品たちが、ところ狭しと並んでいます。

The art show features a vibrant array of colorful creations, including Christmas ornaments and lanterns made from milk cartons.

 

 

上の写真は、アメリカの天才画家「アンディー・ウオーホル」の自画像を模したPre-Aの園児たちの自画像です。

In the photo above, Pre-A class students have created self-portraits inspired by the American genius painter, “Andy Warhol”.

 

こちらの展示をご覧になった保護者様が、下記のように感想を述べていらっしゃいました。

One of the parents who visited the exhibition shared the following impressions:

 

展示の方法も、来てみて驚きました。

The exhibition setup surprised me when I saw it.

 

ただ並べてあるのではなく、本物の美術館のようですね！

Rather than just being displayed side by side, it feels like a real art gallery!

 

アンディー・ウオーホルを好きなのですが、こんな手法でこどもたちの自画像が見れるなんですごいですね。

I’m a fan of Andy Warhol, and it’s amazing to see children’s self-portraits using this technique.

 

どこの部屋もこどもたちの個性や感性が感じられて本当に素晴らしいです！

Every room reflects the individuality and sensibility of the children—it’s truly wonderful!

 

 

上の写真は、ハロウインの時期に、カボチャをモチーフにした作品です。

The photo above features artwork inspired by pumpkins during the Halloween season.

 

台紙の色も自分たちで選びました。

The children even got to choose the color of the background paper themselves.

 

 

上の写真は、和紙に色紙を混ぜたものを、風船にのりで貼り、和紙が乾いたところで風船を割って作成した、風船ランタンです。

In the above photo, you’ll see balloon lanterns made by mixing colored paper with Japanese washi paper and attaching it to balloons using glue. Once the washi paper dried, they popped the balloons to create these lanterns.

 

 

上の写真は紙やすりにオイルパステルで色を塗った作品です。

Another piece in the photo shows artwork where oil pastels were used to color sandpaper.

 

様々な手法で絵を描くアイデアは、さすがプロの講師ですね！

The variety of techniques used to create these artworks truly showcases the expertise of our professional instructors!

 

 

全部の保育室を、金曜日の夜と土曜日一日をかけて、園のネイティブやバイリンガルの全部のスタッフが準備をしました。

All the nursery rooms were prepared by the native and bilingual staff over Friday night and all of Saturday.

 

 

 

墨汁を使って、白と黒の濃淡のバリエーションの楽しさも学びました。

Using ink, the children also learned about the fun of creating variations in shades of black and white.

 

 

色の数は少ないですが、形の配置と大きさのバリエーションで作品の楽しさを味わいました。

Although there are few colors, the enjoyment of the artwork comes from the variation in shape arrangement and size.

 

 

 

作品展では、アートの作品だけではなく、モンテッソーリのレッスンでのお仕事の成果も展示されました。

At the art exhibition, not only were art pieces displayed, but also the results of Montessori lessons.

 

 

Pre-Bの園児たち、Pre-Aの園児たち、キンダークラスの園児たちと、学年が上がるにつれ、巧緻性が成長している段階がわかりますね。

From the Pre-B class to the Pre-A class and the Kinder class, you can see the progression of dexterity as the grade level increases. 

 

 

 

 

 

上の写真は、キンダークラスの園児たちがモンテッソーリのレッスンの時間に編み上げたマフラーです。

The photo above features scarves knitted by the kinder students during their Montessori lessons.

 

作品展が終了し、作品を返却した翌日から、各自首にかけて登降園をしていた園児たちもいました。

After the art exhibition concluded and the artworks were returned, some children wore their scarves around their necks coming to and leaving school.

 

世界に１つだけの自分の作品に、愛着と達成感と自己肯定感を垣間見ることができました。

Seeing their one-of-a-kind creations, I saw their attachment to them, sense of achievement, and self-confidence.

 

作品展を鑑賞した保護者様からの感想をご紹介いたします。

Let me share some feedback from parents who attended the exhibition:

 

わが子が、自分が頑張って作ったものを、誇らしげに教えてくれたのがとても嬉しかったです。

I was delighted when my child proudly showed me what they had worked hard to create.

また、展示の方法も魅力的で良かったです。

The exhibition setup was attractive, and

展覧会の当日に、先生がどのように作品を作ったのか、など補足いただけたのもより楽しめました。

I appreciated the additional explanations about how the artworks were made.

なかなか帰りたがらない感じがしたので子どもも大いに楽しめたようでした。
The children seemed reluctant to leave, showing that they truly enjoyed the experience.

 

週末に作品の飾りつけや片付けをしてくださった先生方には感謝しかありません。

I can’t thank the teachers enough for decorating and cleaning up the artwork over the weekend.

 

他の保育園ではできないような経験をさせてくださっていると思います。

You have given us an experience that we would not have had at any other daycare.

可愛らしい作品が沢山で、親子共にとても楽しませて頂きました！

There were many lovely works of art and both parents and children enjoyed them very much!

二歳児の作品とのことで正直あまり期待してなかったのですが、鑑賞すると、ちゃんと、アートになっていてビックリしました！

To be honest, I didn’t expect much from a two-year-old’s work, but when I looked at it, I was surprised to see that it was really art!

子どもごとに色合いや風合いも違っていて個性を感じられてとても楽しかったです。

The colors and textures were different for each child, and it was fun to see their individuality.

 

予想以上の内容で、先生方の準備に感謝しかありません。ありがとうございました。

The contents exceeded my expectations, and I can only thank the teachers for their preparation. Thank you very much.

 

想像以上の規模に驚き、そして感動致しました！！

I was surprised and impressed by the scale of the exhibition, which was much larger than I had imagined!

 

どれも素敵に可愛く展示してくださっており、素晴らしかったです！！

It was wonderful that all the pieces were displayed so beautifully and prettily!

 

こんなにたくさんの作品、どこに収納してあったのでしょう?

Where did you store all these works?

 

アート専門の先生が教えてくださっているせいか、とても個性的なアート展で素晴らしいと思います。

It was a wonderful and unique art exhibition, probably because it was taught by an art teacher.

 

子ども達の自由な発想を楽しめました！

I enjoyed the children’s free ideas!

 

あんなに綺麗な作品を娘や子ども達が作れる事に驚きました！

I was amazed that my daughter and the children could create such beautiful works of art!

先生方の指導も大変だったかと想像しました。

I can only imagine how hard it must have been for the teachers to teach them.

保育園のお絵描きではなく、アート作品が多く感心しました。

I was impressed by the many works of art, that it wasn’t just nursery school drawings.

学年が上のお子様の作品は本格的なものが多く驚きました。

I was surprised at how many of the older children’s works were very serious.

とても楽しかったです。

It was a lot of fun.

子どもたちのことを考えて取り組んでいただきありがとうございます。

Thank you for thinking of the children and working with them.

 

本物の美術館のようで、本人も作品の説明を嬉しそうにしていました。

It was like a real museum and he was happy to explain his artwork.

 

わが子が作ったものだけでなく、他のお友達の作品も見ることができてとても楽しかったです。

It was so much fun to see not only my child’s creations but also those of his friends.

 

子どもはアーティストだなぁと感動しました。

I was impressed that the children were such artists.

毎年、一年間の作品を全クラス見れるのを楽しみにしてました。

Every year, I look forward to seeing all the classes’ works of the year.

 

どれも個性的でした。大きな作品もあり、のびのびと作品を作れる場もないので、とてもありがたいです。

They were all so unique. Some of the pieces were very large, which is very nice because there are not many places where you can create artwork in a spontaneous and relaxed manner.

 

また編み物など、ぽんぽん含め、大変だろうな、みんな上手にできてるなと思いました。

I also thought the knitting must have been very difficult, but everyone did it so well.

 

かるたは、本当にどれも本当に笑わせてくれます。

The karuta really made me laugh.

 

先生方、本当に大変だったと思いますが、ありがとうございました！

I know it must have been really hard work for the teachers, but thank you very much!

 

子どもたちひとりひとりの感性を大切にしながら、大きく成長を促す保育をしております。
