Dream Kids House International Kindergarten Holds Sports Day!
Hello, I’m Susumu Inoue.
We held Sports Day for Dream Kids House International Kindergarten in Koto Ward.
During Sports Day, the children showcased the dances and physical activities they have practiced since the start of the new school year in front of their parents.
In just six months since the new school year began, they were able to perform impressive dances and gymnastics.
The Kinder class, consisting of four- and five-year-olds, had many members who have participated in Sports Day multiple times before.
They proudly marched through the entrance gate created by the teachers and students.
Athlete’s Oath! Of course, it was delivered in English.
The MC for the event was Mike-sensei, who hosted in English, with Japanese support for announcements.
And then, it was time for the races! Even the two-year-olds ran with all their might.
The Kinder class delivered powerful performances.
The gymnastics routines demonstrated the results of their hard practice, impressing their parents.
The annual dance performances were a hit, with the younger kids being cute and the older kids looking cool!
The students also showcased their karate skills, earning cheers from the parents.
Obstacle races and team events added to the fun.
Friends from the school and even alumni joined in for the open competitions.
This year, the parent competition involved a fun twist on the traditional ball toss!
The parents were fully engaged in the competition.
And finally, the highlight of Sports Day: the relay race, which always gets everyone excited.
It was heartwarming to see children who were once cute toddlers now running with all their strength. Their growth was truly evident.
Then came the closing ceremony, where medals were awarded to all the children.
Their smiles reflected the satisfaction of completing the day.
We finished with a group photo.
Sports Day not only allows us to witness the children’s growth but also provides an opportunity for parents to enjoy together.
Dream Kids House is entering an exciting event season, with a Christmas concert in December and an art exhibition in February. Both the children and staff are working hard for these events.
Dream Kids House is a school filled with rich educational experiences. While attending, your child can receive English education as well.
